Walla Walla Valley
RETURN TO HOME:
Walla Walla Wine region will become our eastern hub in the future due to the extensive historical value and a new way
to take our culinary and wine adventures.  Maybe a cruise to Lewiston / Kingston area and a speed boat up in Hells
Canyon, with a stop along the banks for a freshly caught luncheon with your own private chef awaiting your arrival.

We are designing our wine and culinary tours of the region and expect to have a full itinerary soon.  Here are a few of
the ideas that are now workable, also consider our new program of Cowboys to Chefs and extend your trip to a ranch.

Full day tour:

We depart our host hotel, or guest house for a trip to the local wineries at 11:00 a.m. - a special lunch or picnic awaits
us after our second winery.  We then adventure off to our afternoon stops, adding a few historical sites along the way
and learning more about the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the early days of this wonderful region.  Our return to our
host accommodations is expecting our return - the evening we are having a wine makers dinner or possibly as special
meal at a communal table hosted by our chef.  The wineries we visit on this trip will be the ones you have decided in
advance of our trip to ensure the availability of the tours.  Costs determined by housing, wineries and dinner events.

1/2 day tour:

We have selected either an early afternoon tour or late afternoon to enjoy the local wineries.  Our tour will include as
in all tours, a special spot for lunch and maybe a cheese and fruit sampling along the way as well.  This tour again can
end up with a wine makers dinner in the evening or a chef's table event.  Cost determined by the wineries we visit.

Seattle or Portland to Walla Walla Excursion:

Four unique options for this excursion:  Bus, Rail, Airplane or Boat - now this is where it gets exciting, we can make
this an extended trip and see some of natures most beautiful country side in a relaxing rail experience from either the
Seattle area or Portland area.  Imagine cruising up the Columbia Gorge and stopping along the way to explore the
past as few others have.  Maybe a bus (deluxe coach with on-board activities) through the central region of the state
with stops in Yakima or other wine regions.  One overnight stop along the way to take in the beauty of this regions and
not rush to trip to Walla Walla - yet a relaxing and educational journey, of course with a wine stop or two along the way.
Costing on this trip will be based on all the factors, such as mode of transportation, stops, hotels and events.

Extension to Clarkston / Lewiston and Hells Canyon:

This is definitely in the future plans for this area, we are not going to miss the opportunity to tour the Hells Canyon and
Snake River while in this region.  Some groups may not decide on taking this option, but for the smaller tours that are
like minded individuals traveling as a tour - we expect everyone will want to participate in this exciting extension - plus
who wouldn't want to have his or her own chef prepare a spectacular lunch on the river banks.
